What to Expect During the Client Intake Process at Prevost Law Firm

Once you’ve chosen to move forward with Prevost Law Firm, our team gets to work right away.

The client intake process is the first official step in your case, and it sets the foundation for everything that follows.

We understand that dealing with solar loan issues is stressful. We’re here to make this next step as smooth and transparent as possible.

Here’s what to expect as we begin building your case.

Step One: Submit Your Key Documents

After you sign our fee agreement and submit your initial payment, you’ll receive a client intake form. This is a simple but important questionnaire that helps us gather the facts of your situation. We also ask you to submit the following:

  • A copy of your loan agreement
  • A copy of your solar installation contract
  • The completed intake form

These documents allow us to identify potential legal claims, including misrepresentation, breach of contract, Deceptive Trade Practices Act (DTPA) violations, and fraudulent dealer fees. If your solar installer is still in business, we may also request related communications from your installer or lender.

Step Two: We Build Your Claim

As soon as we have the intake form, your loan contract, and your installation agreement, our legal team begins drafting your demand letter. This is a critical part of your case and lays out your legal arguments in detail. We take great care to ensure the letter is comprehensive, strategic, and backed by your specific documentation.

Sometimes delays can occur if contracts are missing or need to be obtained from third parties, but we do everything we can to minimize those setbacks and keep you informed.

At Prevost Law Firm, we don’t just process paperwork. We build strong, detailed claims that help homeowners fight back against deceptive solar sales tactics. Our client intake process is designed to give your case the strongest possible start, and our team is here to guide you at every step.
